The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall

Opened in 1856 as the Library’s original reading room, The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall is one of Melbourne’s most breathtaking historical venues. Featuring a newly renovated 19th-century interior evoking the splendour of ‘Marvellous Melbourne’, it is an unforgettable venue for your wedding reception, end-of-year celebration, musical soiree or theatrical performance.

With entry via a grand marble staircase, the hall lends a sense of drama and exclusivity to any occasion, and is equipped with a dedicated suite of banquet furniture, integrated AV and catering facilities.
