Hansen Hall

Hansen Hall is a welcoming and flexible venue in the heart of the Swanston Street Welcome Zone.

Adjacent to the Swanston Street foyer, it’s the a central and easily accessible reception venue. Welcome your guests with event registration, cocktails or canapés in Hansen Hall, before enjoying a formal dinner in Cowen Gallery or The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall, or an evening lecture in the Conversation Quarter.

Hansen Hall operates as a shared public space during Library hours, but is available for corporate events or other functions. The Hall provides direct access via lift to The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall.
