Event Recap - Little Big Lunch 2019

This March 30th, Isabella Fraser Room  hosted a very special luncheon event, Little Big Lunch held by the children’s cancer charity organisation Little Big Steps. With the primary goal  to raise awareness around the charity’s work in the community, the event incorporated guest speakers and live entertainment over the course of the afternoon.

Beautiful styling of event by Showtime Events Group

Isabella Fraser Room was the perfect setting for the day’s program including a presentation  from author and cancer survivor Michael Crossland, a panel discussion from families who have experienced their own battle with cancer and an exciting auction to raise funds for the next ‘little big steps’ in this grassroots charity’s journey.

Successfully raising $30,000 to help insure that Little Big Steps can provide a fitness tracker to all primary school aged kids diagnosed with cancer this year! Not only was the fundraising result outstanding but with 75% guests new to the #littlebigstepstribe a significant amount of awareness was raised about the importance of exercise as medicine during cancer treatment and recovery.

Delicious beverage options to complement the event’s menu.

Showtime Events Group, official events partner with State Library Victoria, once again excelled in their delivery of this not-for-profit event. Creating a wonderful package of exceptional quality meals while keeping costs to budget and providing superior service from planning to support on the day.   On site chef Vasentha Caldera, worked tirelessly with key suppliers to provide the highest quality ingredients producing restaurant quality dishes.

A sold out event! Little Big Steps was able to raise much needed funds.
